Speediance Gym Monster 3 brings a 24-inch display, AI coaching and performance diagnostics to the home gym

It has been two years since Speediance introduced its Gym Monster 2 and 2S home training platforms. At this year's IFA, the fitness product manufacturer is presenting their successors, the Gym Monster 3 and Gym Monster 3S.
The key addition this time is integrated AI, which is used both to assess physical performance and to act as a coach for highly individualized and therefore more effective strength training. The AI Coach personalizes workout plans, tracks movements in three dimensions, provides supportive feedback during exercises, and analyzes training results. The included Speediance Strap helps collect body data.
To make the AI Coach more useful and keep training data easy to monitor, a 23.8-inch WQHD display with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,440 pixels is positioned at the center of the gym. Training-responsive ambient lighting and 20W surround sound are designed to make the coaching experience more immersive. The system also includes voice control, an Assist Mode, Partner Mode, four resistance modes, and a new Pilates offering with a mat.
The next generation of home gyms isn't just adding artificial intelligence. There are also several hardware changes. The Gym Monster 3 provides up to 100 kg/220 lb of resistance, while the 3S version goes up to 120 kg/260 lb. Both can be adjusted in 500 g/1 lb increments. A total of 19 cable positions arranged on a 7.5 cm grid provide more suitable pulling angles for different exercises and body sizes. The welds have also been reinforced, and the arm construction has been stiffened.
The home gym is completely freestanding, so there is no need to drill into a wall, and wall mounting is not required. If more space is needed between workouts, the Gym Monster can be folded up, reducing its footprint to just 0.26 m². When unfolded, it takes up 0.84 m².
Visitors attending IFA 2026 will be able to try the fitness equipment in person in Hall 12, booth 121. The first launch will take place, at least in the US, on September 18 this year, roughly one week after IFA.
