Samsung has yet to formally launch the Galaxy S25 Edge. This new thin and light flagship phone was initially expected to make a proper debut sometime in April 2025, but it's now rumored to launch on May 13 instead. The phone was also rumored to retail at €1,249 in Europe, but per newly surfaced retailer listings, it may be a bit more expensive.
This new pricing information comes from an Italian online store called Zanetti. It has listed two configurations of the Galaxy S25 Edge. While the listings have now been deleted, they hinted at the new thin and light flagship phone being the second most expensive device within the series.
To be specific, per the listings from Zanetti, the 256 GB S25 Edge will go for €1,362, while the 512 GB configuration of the phone will cost €1,488. For comparison, the S25 Ultra starts at €1,470 in the EU (256 GB curr. $1,074.99 on Amazon). Zanetti is not the only one that has listed the device with such price tags.
Epto, another Italian retailer, has reportedly listed the same two configurations of the Galaxy S25 Edge with the same price tags, and just like Zanetti, it has seemingly taken these listings down. Of course, this surprisingly high price tag for the device may not be the same for other regions.
Speaking of which, according to Ice Universe, a reliable tipster, Samsung will launch the S25 Edge in only two markets first: China and South Korea. This would mirror the same strategy that the company employed for its Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was also first released in Korea and later in China.
