The Note 13 series are Redmi's latest smartphones of the popular dual rear camera ring design, and have launched at attractive prices in the OEM's native China. Now, it seems the cost-effective new 5G smartphones might be ready to hit a new market already, albeit with a twist in this case.
According to the leaker Kacper Skrzypek, Indian consumers might soon be introduced to the Note 13 Pro and Pro+ - and also the novel 13R Pro, which might debut as an alternative to the 13 5G in its series' new market.
The new variant is said to launch with a possibly older 64MP sensor in place of the Note 13 5G's 108MP selling point. That rumor is mainly based on the discovery of the Note 13R Pro product name in conjunction with the code-name gold_a and model number 2311FRAFDC, also amended to gold_a_in_global and 2312FRAFDI for the Indian market, within code attributed to Redmi parent Xiaomi.
The former has also been spotted on the 3C database as a 5G handset with the base Note 13's 33W wired charging spec. Therefore, Redmi India fans might be able to get the new Note 13 look for an even lower starting price soon. It is not known whether the "13R Pro" will have the same new colorways as the base 13 5G at the time of writing.
