RedMagic details large battery and dual USB-C ports of its new OLED tablet

RedMagic is about to launch a new Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 rival in China, and the OLED tablet is expected to make a global debut soon after the Chinese launch. The company has already revealed a couple of aspects of the pad, and now, it has shared more details.
One of the newly revealed pieces of information is the 8,300mAh battery. This capacity makes the Legion Tab Gen 5 get an upper hand with its 9,000mAh battery, but the RedMagic tablet has support for 80W fast charging, which is slightly better than the 68W support found on the competing Lenovo tab.
Like the Legion Tab Gen 5, the upcoming RedMagic gaming tablet features dual USB-C ports. Both of them can be used to power the device, and there's support for wired reverse charging, which can be pretty handy in different scenarios.
For those who missed it, previously, RedMagic confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 of the tablet will be paired with a powerful cooling setup. It will comprise an active fan and a water cooling system, which could give it an upper hand over the competition in terms of performance.
The gaming tablet is also confirmed to feature a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and a 1,600 nits peak brightness rating. It will come with gaming-focused optimizations, and RedMagic confirmed that the tablet will come with a PC gaming emulator installed.
There's still no word on the price yet, but the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is expected to start at around CNY 4,000 in China, which is around $588. The global price is expected to be competitive, and it could be lower than the tag the Legion Tab Gen 5 launched with.
