The Realme C63 is a smartphone that might be mistaken for an iPhone from the back, but runs Android and costs less than $150. Now, however, an even more affordable version is said to be on the way. Then again, the freshly-certified C61 might also make even more compromises to its series' typical faux-premium appeal to achieve its possibly reduced price.

Those in search of the triple rear camera iPhone 15 Pro-series look but with the option of a vegan leather finish might be in luck with the Realme C63 - so long as they don't mind the distinctly non-Apple waterdrop-notch, non-OLED HD+ display driven by a definitely non-A17 Pro Unisoc Tiger T612 SoC.

That smartphone has launched for ~$125 in Indonesia - however, there might be an even more reasonable alternative on the way. The upcoming C61 is also currently known to the the FCC, BIS and NBTC as the Realme RMX3930.

Like the C63, the impending smartphone has NFC, Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi, but not 5G. Then again, it also runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 and has a 5,000mAh battery.

Then again, a note on its FCC test report indicates that "the charging power" has been amended from 45W (as in the C63) to 15W. That would be an uncharacteristic downgrade, as even the C51 (currently available for just INR 8,190 (~$98) with 4GB of RAM on Amazon.in) has the 33W version of Realme's SuperVOOC charging tech.
