Some Realme fans might already be aware of Realmeow, this OEM’s recently-unveiled visor-rocking feline mascot. Now, some official-looking Twitter accounts allege that this character is to become much more to the brand. In fact, it is due to be rolled out as a smart assistant soon.

Update: Well, it's now April 2, 2021, and those tweets for a new Realmeow AI ecosystem are still up. Moreover, they have been joined by one for a matching smart screen. Then again, claims that this "MeowTV" will be no less than 100 inches in size make the apparent campaign look even more spurious than ever, frankly. Nonetheless, time will tell on these alleged new products.

Original Article: The accounts Realme Pakistan and Realme TechLife claim that Realmeow’s presence will be developed as the “voice” of the brand’s upcoming AI Speaker. This solution will also apparently be available on the OEM’s inaugural laptop, and possibly even on its first-ever set of VR glasses.

Admittedly, the more than slightly on-the-nose teasers, (which indicate that the new products in question could debut over the next few weeks) could still be dismissed as a season-appropriate joke. On the other hand, this OEM has been linked to a 2021 foray into the laptop market prior to this.

This device had been tipped to be called something like the "Realme Book", although one of these new tweets assert it is to be the first-gen MeowBook instead. A new and possibly official render suggests that the mascot will even feature as the main logo on the lid of this device. On that note, the upcoming laptop appears to lack USB type C ports (on its left side, at least), although it might have a 3.5mm jack.

Nevertheless, this "leak" is somewhat plausible, especially given the example of Xiaomi, a company that is now known for its own PCs despite starting out in smartphones, as did Realme. Presumably, this latest hype-train for its apparent new dimensions of its ecosystem might prove valid should it keep rolling after today (April 1, 2021).
