Repeated leaks have pointed to the imminent arrival of a new member of the Lenovo Yoga Tab series. Now, the FCC has certified a device going by this device's alleged model number, indicating that it is destined for the US market, at least. It may launch there with the Snapdragon 870 processor, and, thus, as an Android slate.

Lenovo is now slated to release a new and 13-inch addition to the Yoga Tab line soon. According to some recent leaks, it is to be an Android 11 device, and, moreover, might be the upcoming Snapdragon 870-powered slate teased by a member of the OEM's staff earlier.

Therefore, this potential Yoga Tab 13 might prove to be at least somewhat premium on its launch, an impression reinforced by the possibility of a 2K display and 8GB of RAM for the device. Now, it seems these details may be on the brink of confirmation, thanks to a new Federal Communication Commission (FCC) approval.

It has been conferred on the Lenovo YT-K606F, which, going by some diagrams contained in its new official assessment, is almost definitely a tablet with a large enough screen. Then again, while this new documentation can tell us some useful things about the device, such as that it is rated for Wi-Fi 6 and low-energy Bluetooth, it does not specify whether it will launch with the Yoga Tab series' signature form-factor.
