RAVPower, the well-known accessory-maker, has a stand at MWC this year. It showcases a new PD charger, an ultra-thin (14mm) 'wall wart' based on gallium nitride (GaN) technology. RAVPower also has a new wireless charging stand that is also a power bank.
RAVPower has brought some new products to display at MWC19. They include the company's new Power Delivery (PD) wall charger. It is just 14mm in depth, which is very skinny for a wall-wart. It is based on gallium nitride (GaN), which is an alternative to silicon in electronic components.
The accessory-maker claims that this new technology meams that the new charger "[is] more efficient, generate[s] less waste heat and can sustain higher voltages" compared to older models.RAVPower also claims that the new GaN charger can power "the majority of devices" up to "2.5x faster".
This company also debuted its new wireless charging stand at the technology show. This device, the RP-PB106, also comprises a 5000mAh power bank when disconnected from its power source. Unfortunately, RAVPower did not mention when this product or the GaN charger would be available for sale, or how much either device would cost.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
