Orange Pi 5 Pro: New single-board computer released with LPDDR5 RAM, HDMI 2.1 and AI performance chops
Shenzhen Xunlong Software has started selling the Orange Pi 5 Pro, less than a month after debuting the single-board computer (SBC). To recap, Shenzhen Xunlong Software showcased the SBC during its Orange Pi Developer Conference 2024, where it also revealed the Orange Pi Watch D Pro. As CNX Software notes, the Orange Pi 5 Pro contains numerous changes from the Orange Pi 5, which Shenzhen Xunlong Software refreshed six months ago alongside the Orange Pi 5B and Orange Pi 5 Plus.
According to the manufacturer, the Orange Pi 5 Pro contains a Rockchip RK3588S chipset that also powers the Orange Pi 5B. Consequently, the Orange Pi 5 Pro has four ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores at its disposal, as well as four Cortex-A55 CPU cores, a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU and an AI accelerator that delivers 6 TOPS of theoretical performance. Moreover, Shenzhen Xunlong Software has equipped the SBC with the following I/O within an 89 x 56 mm and 62 g footprint:

- 1x HDMI 2.1

The Orange Pi 5 Pro will start at $60 4 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Alternatively, Shenzhen Xunlong Software offers the SBC in 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM configurations for $80 and $109, respectively.
