After the Oppo Reno 15 Pro was unveiled back in November, the more compact Reno15 Pro Mini is now following suit. With a 6.31-inch display, the new Android smartphone is similar in size to the Apple iPhone 17. While calling a device of this size "mini" is somewhat debatable, most small smartphones currently sport displays with comparable dimensions.
The IP69-certified and therefore water-resistant chassis measures 0.31 inches in thickness and weighs 6.6 oz. Despite the relatively compact chassis, Oppo manages to fit a 6,200mAh battery into the phone, which can be charged via USB-C at up to 80 watts. The standout feature of the device is the triple camera setup on the rear, which consists of a 200MP f/1.8 main camera, a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP f/2.8 telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is also based on a 50MP sensor.
The 6.31-inch display is based on an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a full-screen brightness of 1,800 nits. The phone is further powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8450, so the Reno 15 Pro Mini is one of the faster mid-range smartphones currently available. Moreover, the device supports both a nano SIM card and an eSIM, WiFi 6 as well as Bluetooth 5.4. A fingerprint sensor and Android 16 complete the feature set, although Oppo has not specified how long the smartphone will receive software updates.
