Oppo Pad Mini leak reveals 3:2 OLED display and 5.39 mm body

Oppo is expected to be working on two new Android tablets: the Oppo Pad 5 Pro and Oppo Pad Mini. The Pad 5 Pro is said to be a flagship tablet with a 13.2-inch screen and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Meanwhile, the Pad Mini is expected to be a high-end tablet with a compact form factor. Now, a prominent tipster has shed light on additional details about the tablet.
Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals that the Pad Mini will be 5.39 mm thick and weigh 279 grams. This makes it thinner and lighter than Lenovo’s latest compact tablet, the Legion Tab Gen 5, which is 7.59 mm thick and weighs 360 grams.
The source also reveals that the Oppo Pad Mini may use a 3:2 aspect ratio display. It is expected to be an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The upcoming tablet may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a sub-flagship octa-core chipset based on a 3nm process.
The tablet may pack an 8,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. According to the leak, it may support eSIM connectivity. The global availability of the Pad Mini is not yet confirmed. Separately, Oppo has scheduled the global launch of the Find X9 Ultra for April 21.
