Motorola intros affordable 11-inch Moto Pad with quad speakers and large battery

Motorola has introduced a new affordable tablet, the Moto Pad 2026. It's an 11-inch tab that's powered by a relatively old mid-range SoC, the Dimensity 6300. This MediaTek processor was introduced in 2024, but at the core, it's very similar to the aging 6080 from 2023.
Now, while the Moto Pad 2026 may not be a good pick for resource-heavy tasks for its SoC, it seems to be well-equipped for entertainment and productivity. On the front, the tablet sports an 11-inch display with "2.5K" resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
In the audio department, the affordable tablet has a quad speaker setup that's powered by Dolby Atmos. Motorola promises high depth, clarity, and detail across different types of content.
To enhance productivity, there's Smart Connect support, allowing users to create a unified ecosystem between the tablet and their phones and PCs. It aims to deliver a seamless multitasking experience in a connected work setup.
A 7,040 mAh battery powers the internals of the Moto Pad 2026, which promises up to 12 hours of streaming. That runtime might be decent, but the 20 W max charging support means that the tab will take a while to get from 0% to 100%. It's also worth noting that Motorola won't include a charger in the box.
As for the price, Motorola plans to offer the Moto Pad 2026 from April 30, 2026, with an MSRP of $249.99. For those interested, a similarly configured Lenovo Idea Tab is available for the same price range, and it even ships with a folio case and a stylus (8/256 GB curr. $225 on Amazon).
