Amazon Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft get European release date

It has been six months since Amazon announced the Kindle Scribe (3rd generation) and the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. However, while the two devices have been available to buy in the US, with the exception of the Kindle Scribe without front Light which will be released later this year, they are yet to be available in Europe. Thankfully, the wait has almost come to an end, as Amazon has revealed a release date for both Kindles in the Old Continent.
According to an update on the press release page for the launch of the new devices, the Kindle Scribe with Front Light will be available in Germany and the UK, starting on April 8. In Germany, the E-Ink tablet will have a starting price of €519.99 for the 32GB version and go up to €569.99 for the 64GB version. There's already a listing for it on Amazon.de, but you can't pre-order it yet.
In the UK, the Kindle Scribe with Front Light will start at £449.99, unfortunately, there's no listing for the product on Amazon UK, so there's no info on the price of the 64GB version.
On the other hand, the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft will arrive in Germany with a €649.99 price tag for the 32GB model and a €699.99 price tag for the 64GB model. There will be two colors available — Graphite and Fig (exclusive to the 64GB model). Those in the UK will have to pay £569.99 for the base model. The price of the 64GB version is unknown.
Both devices come with a battery-free premium pen in the box, along with extra replacement tips. However, buyers will have to provide their own charger.
