At this point, we know pretty much everything there is to know about the OnePlus Nord. OnePlus, along with a slew of Twitter leakers, laid the device bare in the past few weeks. Some more details have emerged about the phone's cameras, just a few days before its July 21 release.
The information comes via a forum post made an OnePlus employee. The OnePlus Nord's rear camera array will come with an f1/7.5 48MP Sony IMX586 with OIS. An 8MP ultra-wide angle lens will assist it, along with a 5MP depth sensor and a macro lens. At the front, there'll be a 32MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. OnePlus will also launch some new AI-powered camera features alongside the Nord.
In yet another post, one more OnePlus employee sheds some light on the OnePlus Nord's display prowess. It essentially confirms that the phone will come with an AMOLED panel clocked at 90Hz. OnePlus has even bumped up the touch sampling rate to 180Hz, which should be quite handy for gamers.
OnePlus has also fine-tuned OxygenOS to work in tandem with the phone's Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Its 4,000mAh battery is expected to support fast charging at up to 30W. The only mystery about the phone is its price. We know that it will cost lesser than $500, but prices will likely vary according to region.
