OnePlus 9 Pro leaks again with 4K and 120 FPS video recording capabilities and upgraded camera hardware; OnePlus 9 series launch teasers to begin very soon
We should expect OnePlus to begin teasing its next flagship smartphones soon, according to Ishan Agarwal. The well-informed teenager has stressed that these teasers will commence 'VERY soon', so they could arrive any day now. OnePlus is expected to launch the 9 series in March, so the company may release initial teasers as early as next week.
Incidentally, TechManiacs has published three screenshots that it pertains to be of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The photos look legitimate and they do not put forward any outrageous specifications. According to the screenshots, OnePlus has equipped the 9 Pro with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is to be expected, along with at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. We imagine that the OnePlus will offer the device with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage though, as it does with the OnePlus 8 Pro.
Additionally, the About Phone screenshot shows the OnePlus 9 Pro (LE2123) running Android 11 with a 120 Hz 'Fluid AMOLED' 6.7-inch display. Moreover, the same screenshot states that the OnePlus 9 Pro has four cameras, listed as '48+50+8+2 MP'. Based on the OnePlus 8 Pro, we suspect that these cameras are the device's primary, ultra-wide, telephoto and colour filter sensors, respectively.
TechManiacs has provided two additional screenshots too, which detail the OnePlus 9 Pro's video capabilities. If these are legitimate, then the OnePlus 9 Pro will shoot in up to 8K at 30 FPS and 4K at 120 FPS. Again, these screenshots look the part, but we will only be sure once OnePlus releases the device next month.
