Key OnePlus 9 specifications highlighted via leaked AIDA64 screenshots
The rumour mill has been flush with information about the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro. We've managed to learn a fair bit about the smartphone, including its display specs, battery capacity, camera configuration and even got to look at some live images. The vanilla OnePlus 9 has had no such luck, unfortunately. Thankfully, a new leak from Twitter user @techdroider gives us a treasure trove of information about the OnePlus 9.
Some leaked AIDA64 screenshots allegedly originating from an OnePlus 9 tell us that it features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400) screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This particular variant appears to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Lastly, AIDA64 also reaffirms a report from earlier which stated that the OnePlus 9 would be powered by a 4,500mAh battery. The leaker also confirms support for 65W fast charging and that an appropriately-specced fast charger will be included in the box. Wireless charging support is speculated, too, although its exact wattage is unknown.
Things begin to get interesting on the camera side of things. AIDA64 thinks that the OnePlus 9T has two 12MP rear cameras. While one of them could be an actual 12MP sensor, the other could be a 48MP lens that uses 4:1 pixel binning. There appears to be no mention of the third camera sensor, unfortunately. Similarly, the 4.1MP selfie camera could be a 12MP or even 16MP module. An early OnePlus 9 camera app screenshot speculates 8K 30 FPS video recording capabilities, but the leaker says that it could be removed in the retail version of the OnePlus 9.
