OnePlus debuted the OnePlus 10 Pro as its main premium phone for the year back in April, with the recently released OnePlus 10T intended to be more of a value-oriented option. While the OnePlus 10 Pro had a mixed reception, the company already appears to have set its sights on a successor scheduled for next year—the OnePlus 11 Pro.
According to word coming out of China, the OnePlus 11 Pro is geared to be an even more premium device than the OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus and OPPO are all but the same entity at this point, and the source claims that while the OnePlus 10 Pro was inferior to OPPO's Find X5 Pro flagship phone, things will change next year with the OnePlus 11 Pro. Supposedly, the "OPPO Find X6 Pro+ will be presented as the OnePlus 11 Pro".
If that's to be taken literally, that indicates the OnePlus 11 Pro could be a rebadged OPPO Find X6 Pro+. That shouldn't be surprising in any case, as OPPO and OnePlus are two peas in a pod these days. The OnePlus 10 Pro already drew strong inspiration from the OPPO Find X5 Pro, for example, albeit with weaker camera hardware. A more premium OnePlus 11 Pro as a rebadged Find X6 Pro+ would guarantee better cameras at least, although that's unlikely to bridge whatever gap will exist between it and phones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max when they debut.
