One-Netbook offers One Mix 1S Yoga with Kaby Lake processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 128 GB SSD from US$439.99
One-Netbook is one of an increasing number of OEMs that are focusing on producing reasonably powerful laptops at affordable prices that can be easily slipped into a back pocket or bag. The One Mix 1S Yoga weighs about 515 g (18 oz) and measures just 182 x 110 x 17 mm. In terms of hardware, the Chinese manufacturer has managed to pack a considerable amount into this little form factor.
Along with the low-power entry-level Intel processor, there is a decent amount of RAM (8 GB) and a 128 GB PCIe SSD for storage. Users can utilize the compact keyboard or a stylus with the touchscreen, which is attached to the mini laptop with a 360° hinge so the device can be used as a convertible. A 6,500 mAh battery should be sufficient for considerable use throughout a single workday.
The One Mix 1S Yoga from One-Netbook even comes with a fingerprint sensor and Windows 10 as the OS. At the moment, this pocket powerhouse is available for presale at a price starting at US$439.99 (apparently down from US$561.99; currently US$449.99 with the stylus). On paper, the mini laptop seems like an attractive potential purchase, especially for those who don’t want to lug a hefty business laptop around with them when running from one meeting to another.
