One-netbook has teased another AMD Ryzen 7 6800U-powered gaming handheld, a few weeks after the company started selling the ONEXPLAYER mini Pro without needing people to pre-order the console. Now, One-netbook has announced the ONEXPLAYER 2, a successor to the multiple larger ONEXPLAYER models released in the last few years. While the ONEXPLAYER 2 resembles its predecessor, it has a Nintendo Switch-inspired trick up its sleeve.
As the video below highlights, the ONEXPLAYER 2 has detachable controllers for added versatility over the original ONEXPLAYER and ONEXPLAYER 1S. The ONEXPLAYER 2 has an 8.4-inch and 2.5K display though, which suggests that One-netbook has re-used the panels from last-generation models. Additionally, the upcoming gaming handheld supports 4,096 pressure levels for an active stylus, ONEXPLAYER's signature detachable keyboard and has Harman Kardon-branded stereo speakers. Moreover, One-netbook has equipped the ONEXPLAYER 2 with a 65.5 Wh battery.
Currently, it is unclear how much the ONEXPLAYER 2 will cost. However, One-netbook plans to unveil the device on November 25, which is when we imagine that the company will confirm pricing and availability. The ONEXPLAYER 2 should be available with Intel Alder Lake options too, likely the Core i5-1240P and the Core i7-1260P if the ONEXPLAYER mini Pro is anything to go by.
