ONEXPLAYER 1S launches with an Intel Core i7-1195G7 for the same price as the original ONEXPLAYER

One-netbook has announced the ONEXPLAYER 1S, a minor revision of the ONEXPLAYER that the company has been selling since May. Last month, One-netbook started offering the ONEXPLAYER outside Indiegogo, albeit only in Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 configurations.

Initially, Indiegogo backers had the option of purchasing a Core i7-1185G7 model, which has slightly higher CPU and GPU clock speeds than the Core i7-1165G7. Both processors have the Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs GPU, though. The ONEXPLAYER 1S takes this one further with the Core i7-1195G7, a processor with the same GPU as its Core i7 siblings.

In short, the Core i7-1195G7 has a 100 MHz higher GPU clock speed than the Core i7-1165G7 and a 300 MHz CPU boost clock. All other aspects, including TDP, remain identical across the three Core i7 processors, though. Ultimately, the Core i7-1195G7 should offer only a minor performance improvement over the Core i7-1165G7, especially in a chassis as small as the ONEXPLAYER's.

The ONEXPLAYER 1S starts at US$1,199 on AliExpress for the device only. One-netbook also sells the handheld with a detachable keyboard and a hard case, or both. Confusingly, the ONEXPLAYER 1S is as expensive as an ONEXPLAYER with a Core i7-1165G7, making the latter configuration somewhat redundant. The ONEXPLAYER 1S starts shipping later this month.
