Nubia is all set to launch its latest affordable smartphone, the Nubia V70 Max, in the Philippines on February 15. Nubia has officially confirmed this news via its Instagram handle, revealing some glimpses of an affordable smartphone. It has also been listed by online retailers such as Shopee and Lazada. Those listings further reveal key features of the device ahead of the official launch.
The Nubia V70 Max features a huge 6.9-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood, Nubia uses a Unisoc T606 chipset for its latest affordable smartphone. The entry-level processor is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion.
For optics, there is a triple rear camera setup at the back, the primary of which is a 50 MP sensor. Furthermore, it is rounded off with an 8 MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies and video chats. The device runs Android 15-based MyOS 15 out of the box. As far as the battery goes, the Nubia V70 Max houses a large 6,000 mAh battery that supports 22.5 W wired charging support.
Other features of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and NFC. The Nubia V70 Max will be first introduced in the Philippines and will be available in gray, pink, and green colorways. However, online retailers haven’t revealed the price of the smartphone yet. As far as the other markets availability is concerned, we expect the V70 Max to be launched in other countries too, once the Philippines launch takes place.
