RedMagic has updated its latest gaming smartphone with a new edition. For context, the Golden Saga Edition has arrived only a few months after RedMagic released the RedMagic 11 Pro globally. Nonetheless, RedMagic claims to have made a few advancements in that short time.
On the one hand, RedMagic has outfitted the Golden Saga edition with a carbon fibre design, which it boasts enhances durability. Seemingly, the new Golden Safa edition does not offer any tangible durability benefits, though. Setting that aside, the new release also features RedMagic's Golden AquaCore Cooling System, which it claims combines 'real gold and silver' and gold-plated vapor chambers for superior airflow.
With that being said, the Golden Saga variant retains a 7,500 mAh battery support by 80 W wired and wireless charging, as well as a 6.85-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 2,688 x 1,216 pixels with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, 50 MP primary and 50 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras remain unchanged, as does the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that can also be found in other flagships like the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899.99 on Amazon).
The RedMagic 11 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition retails for £1,299 in the UK, €1,499 in the Eurozone and $1,599 in the US. Please note that the new smartphone only comes with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Also, stock of RedMagic's units is strictly limited, too.
