Most of the Nothing Phone (3)'s design remains blurred out in its latest leaked render, although it might still be taken to suggest that its rear cameras will be found in a loose triangle near the top of its rear panel, next to its new Glyph Matrix interface.
The apparently significant departure from the iPhone 16-esque Nothing Phone (2) allegedly integrates an extra rear cameras in this new generation, 1 of which might be the same 3x periscope zoom lens that debuted in the (3a) Pro (now $529 on Amazon) earlier this year.
It is allegedly joined by wide- and ultrawide-angle lenses, each of which is also based on a 50MP sensor. The Phone (3) is also thought to be the first Nothing flagship to rock a 50MP selfie camera.
Its display might be the same size year-on-year at 6.7 inches, yet might be more detail-rich and responsive with an improved 1.5K resolution.
The Phone (3) might also charge faster via USB-C with significantly upgraded 100W technology, while retaining the wireless and reverse wireless charging features of the (2).
For all those improvements, the (3) might be an underwhelming upgrade otherwise. Gone is the top-tier Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of its predecessor in this leak, to be replaced by the sub-flagship (albeit much newer) 8s Gen 4.
Finally, the Phone (3) is now predicted to buck some of the most pivotal 2025 smartphone trends by launching with a relatively weedy 5,150mAh battery and with Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15 rather than 16.
