Nothing Phone (2a) leak exposes white colourway in case promos, confirming horizontal camera layout, Glyph interface
We've known for a while now that the Nothing Phone (2a) is on the way to challenge the likes of the Google Pixel 7a, and previous leaks have shown us what the device is expected to look like when it arrives in early March. More recently, a post by @stufflistings on X (formerly Twitter) purportedly showed off some case designs from a Chinese manufacturer that confirm the design — this time in white.
The cases in question seem to be from a manufacturer called Kathy Tech, and they are basic clear silicone cases with a pop-out ring on the back to serve as a stand or phone grip, but that's not the important part, here.
On to the more interesting part, though — the phone design. Not only does this leak confirm the horizontal camera layout and the surrounding circular Glyph LED pattern, but it also gives us our first glimpse at the white version of the Nothing Phone (2a) — at least outside of speculative renders. While we've previously seen the muted Dark Grey Nothing Phone (2a) pop up in other rumours and leaks, the white design has not yet shown its face.
In white, the Nothing Phone (2a) seems less subdued, and, although it has the same clear case and ribbon running down the back of the phone, the ribbon on the white version is darker than the background — in contrast to the Dark Grey variant, which has a lighter coloured ribbon.
The Phone (2a), which is confirmed to be manufactured in India and run the semi-custom MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC, is expected to launch on March 5.
Buy the Nothing Phone 2 (curr. $629.27 on Amazon), or opt for the compact, flagship-killing Asus Zenfone 10 (curr. $599.99 on Amazon) instead.
