Debashis DasDebashis Das (Tech Writer)
I’ve been obsessed with electronics since childhood, and there’s a photo of me from my fifth birthday, chewing on an RCA cable, which was probably my first “hardware experiment.” I was also the kid who tore apart DVD players, tape recorders, and toys just to see how they worked (and got scolded for it). By my teens, I was building small audio amplifiers, and in high school, I started working with microcontrollers. In college, I was designing and building my own PCBs and writing firmware mainly for Arduino-based MCUs, which made hardware my comfort zone. After graduating in 2017, I joined a small hardware startup where I learned more in two and a half years than I ever did experimenting at home. It completely changed how I approach problem-solving and product design. When the company shut down during COVID, I began turning my real-world hardware experience into technical writing thanks to CircuitDigest. Since then, I’ve written extensively about embedded systems, SBCs, and development boards for international platforms. I focus on practical, hands-on hardware because I’ve personally built, tested, and debugged the same kinds of systems I write about.
