New upgraded Garmin fitness tracker with built-in GPS leaks

The Garmin Vivosmart 6 fitness tracker has appeared in another official source from the brand. Rumors about this model began in late 2025, when a description of the wearable was spotted on the company’s website in Indonesia. The Vivosmart 6 was also mentioned on the Garmin Sweden website.
Now, the Vivosmart 6 has been mentioned in a recent Garmin Connect customer survey. As reported by Garmin Rumors, the unreleased wearable was listed as an option under the question “Which activity do you use primarily?”. Unfortunately, no further information about the wearable was hinted at in this survey.
As a reminder, the earlier Garmin Indonesia leak pointed to a built-in GPS. This would be an upgrade compared to the older Vivosmart 5 (curr. $149.99 at Amazon), which relied on a connected smartphone for GPS. Plus, the new fitness tracker is said to offer over 30 workout modes, allowing the user to track activities such as running, walking, cycling and swimming.
Garmin has yet to officially announce the Vivosmart 6 fitness tracker. While rumors suggest that it could be released at some point in 2026, there is no indication as to precisely when this could be.
