Amazfit releases new smartwatch with AMOLED display and up to 30 days battery life

Under a month has passed since Amazfit released the Cheetah 2 Pro globally. Nonetheless, the company has already updated its Cheetah 2 series with an Ultra model. Positioned for trail running, the Cheetah 2 Ultra promises to last significantly longer than the Cheetah 2 Pro (curr. $449 on Amazon).
Specifically, Amazfit quotes up to 30 days of battery life in smartwatch mode or 60 hours with location services always enabled. To achieve this, Amazfit has increased the battery capacity by 44%, with the 540 mAh battery inside the Cheetah 2 Pro swapped for a 780 mAh equivalent.

Additionally, the Cheetah 2 Ultra finds itself with a 3,000-nit AMOLED display like its Pro-sibling. However, its size has grown from 1.32-inches to 1.5-inches while expanding its resolution from 466 x 466 pixels to 480 x 480 pixels. Moreover, Amazfit has doubled its built-in storage to 64 GB and has installed an HS3s CPU that promises to provide better performance than the HS3 inside the Cheetah 2 Pro.
Amazfit has wrapped all this hardware in a grade 5 titanium alloy housing with accompanying buttons. For reference, the smartwatch supports 22 mm watch straps too. The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra retails for €599 in the Eurozone, $599 in the US and comes with a choice of two straps in the box.
