Lenovo launches 14-inch laptop with new Intel Core Ultra X9 378H processor

A little over a month has passed since Intel introduced the Core Ultra X9 378H. Arriving with little to no fanfare, the Core Ultra X9 378H sits between the Core Ultra X7 368H and Core Ultra X9 388H in Intel's Panther Lake lineup. At the time, neither Intel nor any laptop OEMs announced when they would be adopting the Core Ultra X9 378H.
Instead, Intel confirmed that the Core Ultra X9 378H is essentially the Core Ultra X7 368H but without vPro enterprise features. Fast forward to mid-May, and Lenovo has been spotted updating the Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura in China with Intel's latest Panther Lake processor.
Currently, Lenovo has not confirmed how much it intends to charge for its first Core Ultra X9 378H release. However, it elaborates that this processor will come with 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. By the looks of things, the Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura is China's answer to the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition.
As a result, we would be surprised if Lenovo silently refreshed the latter with the Core Ultra X9 378H later this year. For context, the Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition is already available globally as a replacement for the older Lunar Lake-based Slim 7i Aura Edition (curr. $1,199 on Amazon).
