Garmin: New software update for flagship smartwatches introduces multiple bug fixes and improvements

Garmin has already released multiple updates to the Fenix 8 and co. this month. All beta builds, the company started May with Beta Version 22.28 before moving onto v22.29 a few days later. Then last week, it began offering Beta Version 22.32 to the same smartwatches, including the Fenix 8 Pro (curr. $949 on Amazon).
Now, the company has jumped ahead to Beta Version 22.34, which it is rolling out globally. Allegedly, the new update has reached all eligible smartwatches enrolled on Garmin's Beta Program. If that is not the case for you, then you can request Beta Version 22.34 manually by navigating Settings to System and then to Software Update before tapping 'Check for Updates'.
Garmin warns that it has disabled Dive and ECG features within Beta Version 22.34. Typically, this means that more beta builds are to come before Garmin transitions beta development to its stable software branch. However, Beta Version 22.34 is said to only contain 'various' unspecified bug fixes and improvements. Hence, we suspect that the first v22.xx stable update is around the corner. Whether it arrives before the start of June remains to be seen at this point.
