New images of ZTE Nubia X8 leak online

ZTE Nubia X8 Android smartphone leaked image shows touch side buttons

These photos show what appears to be touch-sensitive buttons on the side of the flagship that might launch tomorrow.

The upcoming ZTE Nubia X8 has been in the rumor mill since May and now, just one day prior to its expected official announcement, new images show up. Unfortunately, they do not show too much, but enough to add a few interesting details to this premium mid-ranger/flagship.

ZTE Nubia X8 is expected to feature a few new technologies thanks to the touch-sensitive volume buttons on one side, such as ClearForce and Force Touch. Seeing a fingerprint sensor added to the package would not come as a surprise, especially since 4 GB of memory have also been mentioned. Obviously, there is little to no chance in seeing a flagship device launching with no fingerprint sensor these days.

The images also suggest that this handset is bezel-less, but there is no confirmed information on any features or specs. Anyway, we might get all the info about the ZTE Nubia X8 tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Although I have been writing about new software and hardware for almost a decade, I consider myself to be old school. I always enjoy listening to music on CD or tape instead of digital files and I will not even get into the touchscreen vs physical keys debate. However, I also enjoy new technology, as I now have the chance to take a look at the future every day. I joined the Notebookcheck crew back in 2013 and I have no plans to leave the ship anytime soon.
