Not long after the ZTE ZMAX was temporarily withdrawn from sale by T-Mobile due to potential battery issues, its successor is ready to hit the market. ZTE ZMAX 2 will go on sale from AT&T starting tomorrow and comes with slightly improved specs while maintaining a rather low price for a 4G LTE-capable 5.5-inch handset - just $149.99 USD.

ZTE ZMAX 2 has the following specs and features:

  • Processor: 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (probably the 210, but not specified)
  • Memory/Storage: 2 GB RAM; 16 GB internal storage
  • Display: 5.5-inch multitouch with 1,280X720 pixels
  • Cameras: 2 MP front, 8 MP back
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB
  • Operating system: Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • Battery: 3000 mAh

This affordable 4G LTE handset will be available for purchase online at att.com and at select retail locations of the carrier starting tomorrow, as mentioned earlier. For more details, please check the press release below.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
