New all-black Casio G-Shock DW-5600BBR-1ER now available with limited stock
Casio has finally launched the G-Shock DW-5600BBR-1ER in the UK, a new addition to its "Black and Bold Red" series (as previously reported here). The model is now available via G-Shock UK’s online store for £99.90 (~$133) and brings back the familiar DW-5600 shape with a stealthy matte black case and a high-contrast red display.
While the design here is minimal, the feature set stays on-brand. The watch comes with standard G-Shock durability, shock resistance, a 200-meter water rating, and a multi-function alarm system. The screen is equipped with a bright Super LED backlight for extra legibility in darker conditions. The resin strap here is bio-based, which is in line with Casio’s recent push toward sustainable materials.
Specs include a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, and a five-year battery. The display can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats, and there's also an automatic calendar. The case measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm and weighs merely 52 grams.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the "BBR" tag - other models like the GA-700BBR and GX-56BBR are also expected to roll out in the coming months as part of a larger collection. For now, though, the DW-5600BBR-1ER stands as the first officially available unit, and it's already listed as limited stock - so if you're interested, you might want to hurry.
