The Xiaomi Watch S4 could be released globally in the near future. This wearable was launched in China last October alongside the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones. Now, the smartwatch is reported to be launching in markets like Europe.
Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared details and renders (below) of the global version of the Xiaomi Watch S4. It appears to be very similar to the Chinese version, offered in silver, black, and rainbow colorways. There is a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 px resolution and up to 2,220 nits brightness. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, and users can receive Bluetooth calls thanks to a built-in microphone and speakers.
There are various sensors to track health and fitness metrics, like a heart rate monitor, accelerometer and barometric altimeter. Plus, you users can navigate using GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS. On top of this, it offers NFC and 5 ATM water resistance, which means you can swim with it for a short time. According to Ambhore, the smartwatch will run for up to 15 days thanks to a 486 mAh Li-Po battery and is compatible with smartphones running Android 8.0+ and iOS 12.0+. However, there is no mention of the new wrist gesture controls that are offered in the Chinese model.
The tipster also indicated a European RRP of €159 for the base Bluetooth smartwatch. That is around €10 higher than the launch price of the Xiaomi Watch S3 (curr. €115 at Amazon DE). It remains to be seen how much an LTE version of the Watch S4 could cost. It has been suggested that the Xiaomi Watch S4 could officially launch internationally alongside the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Rumors point to a release-related event taking place around March 2, just ahead of MWC 2025.
