The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is not the only device that Xiaomi has presented today. Also, the company has introduced a suite of new laptops, culminating in a new version of the Redmi Book Pro 16 (2025).
Unequivocably, the design of Xiaomi's latest 16-inch laptop evokes the equivalent MacBook Pro (curr. $2,237 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 contains an intriguing combination of hardware for Windows users, and various upgrades over last year's variant.
For example, Xiaomi equips the new Redmi Book Pro 16 with a 16:10 IPS panel that resolves at 3,072 x 1,920 pixels for an effective '3.1K' output. The panel complements this high native resolution not only with a 165 Hz peak refresh rate but also 500 nits peak brightness and 100% P3 colour space coverage.
Moreover, the Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 can be configured with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x-8400 RAM and a Core Ultra 7 255H processor from Intel's Arrow Lake-H family. The combination of a 99 Wh battery should ensure decent runtimes, while the integrated Arc 140T iGPU is no slouch, either. Added to that, the Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 weighs in at a mere 1.88 kg with a 15.9 mm case thickness.
The Redmi Book Pro 16 2025 starts at CNY 5,199 (~$714) in China with a 1 TB SSD, 32 GB of RAM and a Core Ultra 5 225H processor. Meanwhile, the Core Ultra 7 255H variant mentioned above comes in at CNY 5,999 (~$824) with the same memory. Xiaomi has not revealed whether it plans to offer the new 16-inch Redmi Book outside its home market yet, though.
