New Suunto Race 3S leak confirms pricing with cheaper than expected titanium model

Hardly any time has passed since Suunto launched its Run 2 smartwatch (curr. $349 on Amazon). As we discussed at the time, the Run 2 boasts a 3x brighter display than its predecessor, as well as 16x more storage for saving offline maps. By the looks of a new leak, the rumoured Race 3 series is not far behind.

Earlier this summer, a Redditor came across Race 3 and Race 3S details via Google's AI Overview. Simultaneously, Gadgets & Wearables discovered additional references to the Race 3 series on Suunto's website. Now, a European retailer has added the Race 3S to its Belgian and French websites.

As the screenshot below shows, Snowleader believes that the Race 3S will launch for €498.90 with a Titanium Black finish. For context, this price matches the cheaper Race 2 with a stainless steel case, which still costs $499. By contrast, Suunto charges €599 and $599 for titanium versions of the Race 2.

Hence, Snowleader indicates that the Race 3 may undercut its predecessor. Moreover, the listing adds credence to the notion that the Race 3 and Race 3S will debut before the end of the year, with Snowleader advertising the Race 2 series as '2026' smartwatches. Currently, the Race 3S is rumoured to adopt a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with dual-band GPS and a new Suunto AI Coach.
