New Casio digital watch with square display launches

A new Casio G-Shock Baby-G x Goodbai BGD-565GB25-7PFG collaboration watch has been released in China. This is the second model from the partnership between the Japanese watchmaker and the lifestyle brand. 

The design of the Casio G-Shock BGD-565GB25-7PFG, or the BGD-565GB25-7, is inspired by Goodees World, a Goodbai sub-brand. The model had a white resin casing and a strap adorned with pixel art in red and gray. The Goodees World logo features on the bracelet, and the watch comes with a Goommy doll wearing a miniature version of the watch.

The Casio Baby-G BGD-565 is a digital watch with a square face. Its features include a countdown timer, a 1/100th second stopwatch, hourly time signals and a multifunctional alarm. An LED backlight ensures the display can be read in any environment. Plus, the model is shock resistant and water resistant to 100 m.

At Casio Store in China, you can now buy the G-Shock Baby-G x Goodbai BGD-565GB25-7PFG watch for CNY 1,190 (~$175). This model appears to be exclusive to the Chinese market, though older BGD-565 watches are available via importers at Amazon US (BGD-5650-2 curr. $144).
