Casio launching three new round hybrid watches

Three new Casio G-Shock Baby-G BA-110 series watches have been revealed. Listed on the brand’s official website in Thailand, these hybrid Y2K style watches are described by the brand as “sparkling and dazzling” (machine translated).
The Casio Baby-G BA-110MC-2A has a dark blue metallic resin casing and strap, with a purple and blue dial. The BA-110MC-6A has a light purple metallic case and strap, with a matching purple and silver dial. The BA-110MC-7A has a white case and strap, with pink, purple and turquoise accents across the bezel and dial.
Casio’s G-Shock BA-110 is a hybrid watch with two metallic hands to indicate the hour and minute. The model supports 29 time zones, with the ability to switch daylight saving time on or off, and should remain accurate to within 30 seconds each month. On the two inset digital displays, users can view information like the date and the day of the week.
Plus, the Casio Baby-G BA-110 has features like a 1/100th second stopwatch, hourly time signals, an alarm and a timer. There is an LED backlight to illuminate the display in low lighting, and this model has a shock-resistant structure which is also water resistant to 100 m.
In Thailand, the Casio G-Shock Baby-G BA-110MC-2A, BA-110MC-6A and BA-110MC-7A watches retail for ฿5,200 (~$161). It is unclear when these hybrid watches could be released in other markets, like the US. Here, you can already buy older BA-110 series watches, like the BA-110-7A1, from importers (curr. $159.89 at Amazon Marketplace).
