A new Casio Edifice Sopsensione model, the ECB-2300D, appears to be on the way. The upcoming watch is inspired by motorsports and seems to build on the older ECB-2000D, which launched a few years ago.
Several sources, including a Turkish retailer and a reputable Casio blog, indicate that three new watches will be released in the near future: the ECB-2300D-1A, the ECB-2300D-2A and the ECB-2300DC-1A. The ECB-2300D-1A has a black watch face with red accents, and the ECB-2300D-2A has a blue face with light blue and gray elements. Both of these versions have a silver stainless steel bezel and strap. The ECB-2300DC-1A is an all black model, with blue accents and a black-ion plated metal bezel and bracelet.
This next-generation Sospensione model is said to have an enhanced case construction, combining stainless steel and carbon fibre-reinforced resin parts. It has a double-wishbone suspension, mimicking a race car. Other reported features include Bluetooth for the Smartphone Link function, Tough Solar charging and 100 m water resistance. It should also have a stopwatch, a timer and multiple alarms, with support for a range of world time zones.
The Casio Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300D-1A, ECB-2300D-2A and ECB-2300DC-1A watches are expected to be released before the end of 2025, though an exact release date has not been revealed. The pricing also remains a mystery; for context, the older ECB2000PB-1A, or ECB-2000PB-1A, retailed for $300/€249.
