New from Mova: LumeGret A4000
New competition for Anker Solix, Zendure, and others: Mova has presented its first two solar systems, the LumeGret A2000 and A4000. These plug-and-play solutions offer an expandable capacity of up to 9.6 and 20 kWh, respectively.

At a launch event held today by Mova in Hamburg, the manufacturer presented numerous new products. In addition to established segments such as robot vacuums and pool cleaners, the lineup included new releases of a kind not previously seen from the relatively young brand.

Key among these are the two newcomers, LumeGret A2000 and A4000—names which represent two new solar systems. With these, Mova intends to gain a foothold in the balcony solar and PV system market, competing with established manufacturers like Anker Solix, Zendure, EcoFlow, Jackery, and others.

According to information from Mova, the LumeGret series is designed as a plug-and-play solution, meaning it should function without the need for complex installation by professional personnel. The manufacturer claims that LumeGret can be installed and put into operation on a balcony with a standard power connection in as little as 30 minutes.

Detailed information was sparse leading up to the event. The LumeGret A4000 is the more powerful of the two systems, featuring an expandable capacity of 4 to 20 kWh. According to manufacturer specifications, it is designed for long-term cost-effectiveness with a lifespan of up to 20 years, 10,000 charge cycles, and a 10-year warranty. Among other features, it is intended to enable intelligent electric vehicle charging at up to 2.5 kW and use AI-supported technology to maximize the self-consumption of solar power.

By contrast, Mova states that the LumeGret A2000 focuses on enhanced safety, featuring an extensive protection system that includes an aerosol fire suppression function. Accordingly, its capacity is lower, ranging from 1.92 to 9.6 kWh.

Both new products also support bidirectional energy management—meaning they can also be charged via AC (which is relevant, for example, in combination with dynamic electricity tariffs)—and app-based control.

Mova's new solar systems are expected to be available in the second quarter of 2026. The manufacturer has not yet revealed pricing details for the LumeGret A2000 and A4000. As soon as we learn more, we will update this news.
