The Motorola One series has a new member, and as its name suggests it has a unique selling point of close-up photography. The Macro brings this option to the low- to mid-range sector of the Indian market: the OEM has announced that it is set at INR 9999 (~$140). For this, the customer gets the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC (which is in line with most of this phone's leaks) and 4GB of RAM (which is not).
The One Macro also has 64GB of fixed internal memory, although it also has a microSD card slot that can support up to 512GB. This, presumably, will be used to store the photos taken with the new phone's triple rear camera. They consist of a 13MP main shooter, a 2MP depth-calculating lens and a 2MP sensor specifically for the mode that gives this new Motorola its name.
These photos can be viewed on a 6.2-inch HD display, which is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 10-watt "rapid" charging. These specs are contained in a polycarbonate build with IP2X splash-resistance. The Motorola One Macro is offered in a Space Blue colorway, even though it has also been seen with purple and gray finishes in earlier renders. It will reportedly become available for sale through Flipkart from October 12, 2019.
