Motorola is now linked to an upcoming release for another One-line phone. It is rumored to be called the One Macro, and to be powered by a MediaTek SoC. A phone that might meet this description has been tweeted as a render by Evan Blass.

Motorola is currently said to have a new phone from the One series in the works. This potential sibling to the Zoom and Vision may be called the Macro. This name - which is a rapidly-emerging theme among 2019 smartphones - suggests that it is dedicated to a particular kind of photography, especially considering the way the One Action was marketed.

A phone called the "Motorola one macro" has appeared on Geekbench, suggesting that this putative phone has a MediaTek Helio P70 or P60 processor and 2GB of RAM. Despite these low-end specs, it seems it has a rear camera that at least looks decent. This indication comes courtesy of Evan Blass, who has posted a photo attributed to this device on Twitter.

It shows a phone with Motorola One design hallmarks and at least 3 cameras. It is also depicted as having a dark purple finish. A device of the same appearance, but in a different color, has also shown up in a separate leak. These renders have given rise to speculation that it may have laser-assisted autofocus.

In addition, it has also reportedly been certified by an Asian national telecomms regulator. This suggests that the One Macro does in fact exist, but that it may not make it to Western markets.
