UMIDIGI has launched the F2, its first phone with an in-display selfie camera. This device also ships with "stock" Android 10 out of the box. It also has quad rear cameras, which include a 48MP main shooter and a dedicated macro lens.

The F2 is UMIDIGI's latest device, and like its preceding generation it comes packed with plenty of value-for-money features. They include the OEM's first in-display selfie camera, which is a 32MP sensor that peeks out of one upper corner of the display. The rest of this panel comprises a 6.53-inch FHD+ "FullView" display.

The other side of this device exhibits a quadruple camera, one sensor of which is 48MP in resolution. It is joined by a 13MP 120-degree ultra wide angle camera, a 5MP depth sensor and a macro sensor of the same resolution. The F2 also offers a 5150mAh battery with 18-watt charging and NFC.

However, there is what may be one main compromise for all this: the new F2 is powered by the distinctly mid-range octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. It also has only 1 memory conformation, which comprises 6GB of RAM and 128GB in internal storage. Then again, it is also one of the first phones to offer Android 10 this year.

In terms of looks, the UMIDIGI F2 could be said to channel Honor with its light-shifting glass rear panel in Phantom Blue or Midnight Black finishes. Furthermore, its side-mounted fingerprint sensor echoes that of the original 9X series. This new device is now available as part of a pre-sale event on its OEM's own store. Here, it can be ordered for US$299.99. It is also said to see a release on AliExpress on October 14, 2019 for a similar price.
