Motorola introduced its latest entry- to mid-range One series of phones in late 2018 with an eponymous variant. Therefore, it may have disappointed many of its fans that it has taken it this long to get a build of Android 10. This update has been reported in the Brazilian market thus far.
Motorola released the first model of the One series at the end of August 2018. This device runs on the Snapdragon 625 SoC, has a display with an iPhone-sized notch and is part of the Android One program in some of its markets, the US included. As such, it took only about 2 months for it to see an update to Pie (version 9.0 of this OS).
However, this rate of major upgrades was not upheld for the Motorola One with respect to Android 10. In fact, the OEM only started hinting it would push an OTA for the same to the phone this month (March 2020). Now, this promise has come to fruition with reports from owners of the phone to this effect.
These users are all located in Brazil, with no sign of Android 10 for the One in any other market (correct at time of writing). However, it may start to appear on units for these regions soon. Meantime, there is no word on an update for its One Power variant, which is mainly sold in India.
