Motorola Razr 2023: New image of next-generation Razr smartphone leaks
91mobiles has leaked a hands-on picture of an unreleased Motorola Razr smartphone. While the website has only shared one image it matches others that Evan Blass and The Tech Outlook revealed last month. Currently, the device is expected to launch as the Razr 2023 or Razr (2023). For reference, Motorola also shortens the current model to 'Razr 22' in its promotional materials.
As far as we can tell, the image embedded below is the first picture of a real Razr 2023 unit; previously, all images of the device were press renders. The image is undoubtedly of a prototype unit rather than a retail model though, with 'NOT FOR SALE' printed above its cover display. Based on leaked press renders, the Razr 2023's cover display extends around its camera lenses, as well as its small LED flash. However, the comparatively large display will stop short of the printed text.
Additionally, the leak confirms that the Razr 2023 will be available in at least two colours, which The Tech Outlook's teasers only hinted at. The unreleased device appears to have a relatively thin hinge too, although it is unclear whether that will allow both sides to sit flush when closed. Motorola is expected to reveal the Razr 2023 on June 1, but pricing has not leaked yet.
