Pricing for the Edge 30 5G has leaked courtesy of a third-party retailer. As the screenshot below shows, Motorola will launch the handset for €549.90, which it will officially market as the Edge 30 5G. Incidentally, Motorola is expected to reveal the Edge 30 5G in the three colourways that leaked last week. Supposedly, Motorola will announce the handset on May 5 in Europe; release dates outside Europe remain unknown at this stage.
According to Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Edge 30 5G will start with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with an 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costing €100 extra. However, GizPie's leak hints at 8 GB of RAM being the entry-level RAM configuration. Potentially, Motorola will sell the Edge 30 5G with 6 GB of RAM in some markets and only 8 GB of RAM in others, as is the case with the Moto G52.
For reference, the Edge 30 5G has a 6.5-inch pOLED display that operates at 144 Hz and 1080p. Also, the smartphone has dual 50 MP rear-facing cameras, a 4,020 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Motorola will ship the Edge 30 5G with Android 12 too, albeit with its My UX skin rather than stock Android.
