Minisforum EliteMini AI370 mini PC becomes available for purchase with special launch promo
Minisforum has made the newly introduced EliteMini AI370 available to pre-order. This AMD Strix Point mini PC is currently only available in one configuration, and it costs $1,099 with the special launch discount. Orders placed before November 20 will also be paired with a $100 gift card, and the first 150 purchasers will receive a mouse and keyboard combo with it.
As for the mini PC itself, it's among the first models with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. On the only one configuration that's available to purchase, this Zen 5 APU is paired with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The memory is not user upgradable, but the EliteMini AI370 has support for up to 4 TB of storage (2 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD curr. $149.99 on Amazon).
This Strix Point APU also has the RDNA 3.5 AMD Radeon 890M. It's the top-end iGPU that's available within the lineup, and as we noted in our analysis, it offered up to 15% better performance in synthetic benchmarks and up to 18% better in gaming when compared to the last-gen Radeon 780M.
According to Minisforum, this iGPU inside EliteMini AI370 allows the mini PC to offer 60+ FPS in most modern AAA games. The system also features a robust cooling setup that promises to deliver stable performance even during load.
Regarding the ports, the Minisforum EliteMini AI370 comes with one USB4, four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, one DP 2.0, one HDMI 2.1, and two 2.5G Ethernet ports. It doesn't have an OCuLink port like the Aoostar GEM10 370. While that would've made it a better pick for an eGPU setup, the USB4 port should be good enough for many.
