The GMKtec EVO-X1 is one of the few devices to use AMD's latest Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. As a result, the compact mini-PC will be incredibly powerful, particularly thanks to its 70 W overclocked TDP. The GMKtec EVO-X1 should prove fairly versatile because of OCuLink and USB4 ports, too.

The increased adoption of AMD's recent Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU continues. Initially, the APU was adopted by major laptop manufacturers like Asus with the Zenbook S 16 and ProArt P16. Following that, gaming handheld specialists have now turned to the same APU, presumably because of its faster Radeon 890M iGPU.

Moreover, GMKtec has now confirmed when it intends to start selling its first effort at a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered mini-PC. Specifically, the company will begin offering the EVO-X1 on November 27 at 02:00 UTC. However, this is only true in China, where it will start at CNY 5,299 (~$732), discounted from CNY 5,599 (~$773).

Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when GMKtec will offer its new mini-PC internationally. With that being said, the EVO-X1 should be about as powerful as the Beelink SER9, which is already available globally (curr. $999 on Amazon). As the image below shows, the EVO-X1 will support OCuLink and USB4 connectivity though, which should make it more versatile than many competing mini-PCs, despite its tiny 110 x 107 x 63 mm footprint.
