Starting today, fans of Marshall's signature sound who want to drop the wires can grab the Minor III TWS earbuds. Available worldwide, this newcomer to the TWS line-up of the iconic British audio brands is only available in black and promises powerful audio, generous autonomy, ease of use, and all these for a price of sub-US$130 (US price).
According to the official press release, these are the technical highlights of the Marshall Minor III TWS earbuds:
- Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity
- 12 mm dynamic drivers
- 93 dB SPL (179 mV @ 1 kHz)
- 32 Ohm driver impedance
- 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response
- 44 g (1.55 oz) weight
In addition to the above, we should also mention the 5-hour battery life of the earbuds (four additional charges can be delivered by the charging case, for a total of 25 hours), IPX4 water-resistance rating, touch-sensitive controls, as well as auto-pause and auto-play when removing/inserting an earbud. The charging case supports both wireless and USB-C charging.
Since Marshall products target music fans, there is no noise cancellation and other digital sound enhancement to talk about. Anyway, a single microphone should be enough for casual chats, but those who were planning to record podcasts while running around noisy crowds on a windy day might want to reconsider that.
