Logitech Zone TWS targets the WFH market, can pair simultaneously with a phone and a PC
The work from home market has exploded with the global pandemic forcing companies and their employees to adapt to remote working. This has led to a rush on electronic components and devices that subsequently resulted in the ongoing shortage of chips and semiconductors globally. Among devices in demand are headphones for Zoom and Teams meetings as well as being able to take calls in peace -- particularly if you have pets or family at home with you.
Logitech has spotted an opportunity to launch the Zone TWS earphones, which include several features that could make them an ideal choice for some people. Over-ear or on-ear headphones can cause fatigue if worn for long periods -- not so for the much smaller and compact Zone TWS earphones. They are also certified for use with all major online meeting platforms and come with both a noise-cancelling mic and active noise cancelling.
Perhaps their best feature is being able to simultaneously connect to both a smartphone and a computer. The Logitech Zone TWS achieves this by connecting to a phone over a Bluetooth connection while the included USB receiver allows a user to connect and ensure clear calls from both their phone and PC. Logitech promises excellent audio from the 12 mm drivers as well as all-day battery life with 6 hours of continual use with ANC on when used in meetings.
The Logitech Zone TWS earphones are priced at US$300 and are launching later this month.
