Update: ZTE has now confirmed these teasers with the launch of the LiveBuds Pro (which are, as it turns out, rated for ANC) and Buds. They are priced at 349 yuan (~US$54) and 169 yuan (~$26) respectively. Unlike the Axon 30, however, the OEM has yet to mention global availability for these new TWS earbuds as yet.
Original Article: ZTE will unveil the Axon 30 smartphone on July 27, 2021: a device slated to launch with improved under-display camera technology. Now, the OEM has announced that it is not the only new product set to debut at that product event. Its fans may have the option to order new TWS earbuds from the same brand on the 30's launch.
ZTE has also just revealed that there will be 2 new SKUs in that product category, some first-gen eponymous Buds, joined by the LiveBuds Pro. The OEM's new teasers suggest that both might have the same AirPod-clone design; however, the former has an open-backed design, whereas the latter are closed-back.
The LiveBuds Pro are slated to support a total of 6 mics for noise reduction, and to have ear-seals to further block unwanted sounds. Then again, their maker has yet to clarify whether they have actual active noise cancellation (ANC) technology.
Less has been spilled about the Buds, although ZTE has hinted that they will be the more affordable of the two. Then again, neither new product has yet to be priced outright. For context, the preceding Buds Live started at 199 yuan (~US$31), although their successors are unlikely to meet this price-point.
